Ok, so incase you don’t know me, what is there to know? Let me do a brief run down ..
My name is Nicky, I am big into the paranormal & spooky stuff but also true crimes fascinate me, hence my YouTube channel. I’m a true Scorpio in the sense that I have a sting in my tail but I don’t often use it, but I’m very outspoken and will tell you what I think so if you don’t want my honest opinion then please don’t ask me

Spooky Misfit, (which was recently renamed from Pawranormal Trails) is all paranormal things and true crime. I’ve always been interested in those things, ever since I was a little kid. Ghosts and things that go bump in the night have always peaked my interest, this I think is down to the fact that I am very open to the elements and have been told I could easily be a medium as I am very in tune with that side of things. It’s in my family also, my great aunt was a famous medium and healer, she went all over the world with her gift, but mostly America and the UK is where she is well known. Her name was Rose, she was my nan’s sister. My Nan told me a great deal about her and so has my mum, she was really good at what she did and gave great comfort to many people.
When I lived at a house I rented for 18 years, that’s when I became aware I could see and hear things more than the average person. The house itself was definitely haunted, many things would happen, I’d hear strange noises, smell different smells that shouldn’t be there and on more than one occasion I saw a person that should definitely not have been there. Over the years I became more used to the spirit and it became part of my life, not to say I wasn’t freaked out still by it, I was, but I just learnt to deal with it differently. I was mostly ok with whoever it was, they meant me and my family no harm, I never felt threatened or terrified. See my video on it here!
It was only when we moved from that house that I realised I missed it, now that sounds strange and odd, I am aware of that but when you are used to certain things occurring every day, then all of a sudden they stop, it’s very… well, quiet.
Well it was quiet as in there were no spirits in the new house we rented, but it was very much noisy from the neighbours we gained, they were a complete and utter nightmare for the whole 7 years we lived there, I actually preferred the spirit over them any day!
It wasn’t until we realised we could afford to buy our own house that we finally escaped the nightmare of renting & life has been a million times better since.
Our house was built on the land where an old cottage stood, the man that built our house (we are only the second people to live here) knocked down the cottage to use the land to build his own house. So who knows how many years the cottage was here? Who knows who lived and possibly died there? This is something both myself and my husband are keen to find out. We have had a few odd occurrences here but nothing that comes close to the original house that was alive, literally.
This is when I decided to set up a YouTube and try to make my own videos, there are many great channels out there but I wanted a go myself. I started off with doing reaction videos, to my surprise, they took off quite well. Then I got into video making a little more and decided to ditch the reaction ones and do my own research for paranormal and then true crime stuff, as it’s things that fascinate me. Let’s just say, the rest is history! 😅
